Ellie Aquino is a junior at the Pacific Conservatory of Music, with a major in Violin Performance and a minor in Spanish. She attended Vista del Lago High School in Folsom, California, where she was a member of the Orchestra, Concert Band, and Contemporary Music Ensemble under the direction of Ms. Elicia Masztal and Mr. Vincent Martini. During her time at the Conservatory, she has played with the University Symphony Orchestra, various chamber ensembles, and has also formed a mariachi with her close friends. She is currently studying with Dr. Ann Miller and previously studied with Paolo Reyes. Aside from the violin, she also loves playing guitar, piano, ukulele, and percussion. Her favorite artists are Natalia Lafourcade, Carole King, Adele, and Aretha Franklin.
